P50 Special Commissions

Bespoke Peel P50 and Trident builds created for collectors, media productions and special projects.

Special Commissions

Each special commission begins with an idea — a unique livery, a one-off concept, or a vehicle built for an extraordinary journey. Our workshop has created custom P50s for collectors, museums, media productions and record-breaking adventures around the world.

Your P50, Your Way

Every Peel P50 we build can be tailored to its owner. From subtle personal touches to completely one-off vehicles, our in-house team works directly with clients to create truly distinctive commissions.

Because every car is hand-built, almost every element can be customised — from colours and materials to bespoke accessories and unique body finishes.

A P50 Fit for Royalty

This one-off open-top P50 was commissioned by Sheikh Abdulaziz Al Thani as part of a pair of presentation vehicles created as gifts for the Emir of Qatar. Alongside a standard Peel P50, this bespoke Cabriolet was developed as a unique reinterpretation of the world’s smallest production car.

Transforming the P50 into a true open-top vehicle required extensive re-engineering of the body structure while preserving the car’s unmistakable proportions.

Finished in a two-tone Daytona White and Qatari Maroon metallic livery with chrome detailing, the Cabriolet was created as a bespoke commission for the Emir of Qatar and now resides within the Royal Collection at Al Wajba Palace, Doha, Qatar.

The P50 Jolly

Inspired by the beach cars of the 1950s and 60s, the P50 Jolly reimagines the world’s smallest production car as a relaxed coastal runabout.

Finished in soft Riviera Blue with a striped canopy and woven wicker seat, this playful interpretation adapts the character of the Peel P50 into a lightweight beach car for warm climates and resort settings.

The Jolly highlights the versatility of the P50 platform and the potential for bespoke commissions beyond traditional builds.

The World’s Smallest Ice Cream Van

Commissioned by Nestlé to launch their Mini FAB ice lollies, this unique build transformed the Peel P50 into the world’s smallest fully functioning ice cream van. Designed to capture attention and deliver classic summer nostalgia, the tiny vehicle combined authentic ice-cream-van details with the unmistakable charm of the P50.

Complete with traditional chimes, illuminated roof signage, and a custom “hundreds and thousands” roof detail, the van was engineered to be both playful and fully operational. Despite its tiny footprint, it featured a working freezer and bespoke branding created specifically for the campaign.

The finished vehicle toured the UK throughout summer 2013, delighting crowds and proving that even the smallest vehicle can deliver a big impact.
