Big Adventures for a Tiny Car!

Britain’s Biggest Journey in the World’s Smallest Car

Alex has owned his Peel P50 for nearly a decade. As only its second owner, he doesn’t keep it tucked away – he drives it, and for a long time it even served as his daily transport to and from work.

In the winter of 2021, Alex took on an audacious charity challenge: driving the length of Britain in the world’s smallest production car. Setting off from John O’Groats in the far north of Scotland and finishing at Land’s End in the south west of England, Alex covered almost 1,600 miles over three weeks. With support from his friend Joely following in a camper van, the tiny P50 proved it was capable of far more than anyone expected.

Since then, Alex’s P50 has lapped the legendary Nürburgring in Germany, raced a G-Whiz electric car on DriveTribe, been driven by F1 stars Johnny Herbert and George Russell for Sky F1, and even tackled the steepest road in Britain. And despite all that, Alex still regularly drives his P50 today.
