Collecting his kit in the summer of 2023, he documented the entire build in a dedicated Facebook group, fitting it with a fully restored original DKW engine reconditioned by P50CARS and growing a following of over 700 enthusiasts along the way.

Completed and road-legal by the end of 2024, the car made its debut at the 50th National Microcar Rally in September 2025, where it sat proudly alongside original Peel P50s — meeting its namesakes and bringing the journey full circle.
